PROJECTS "PEOPLE OF THE WORLD"/ "FESTIVALS OF THE WORLD"

PROJECT: "PEOPLE OF THE WORLD"
2nd Eso (2016-2017)
1st Term
Description:
Students need to create a power point on different groups of people or communities proposed. You can work in pairs or small groups. All participants need to collaborate in the same way.
1. Read and look for information about the different communities of people:
1. The Amish
2. The Rabari
3. The Masai
4. The Innuit
5. The Padaung
2. Write a draft including main information.
3. Start to create a power point taking into account the different aspects:
Make it as personal as posible, original and different.
- Name
- Population
- Language(s) spoken
- Religion
- Country/Area. Where do they live?
- Images/Pictures
- Music and instruments used. Links.
- Food
- Traditions
- Main aspects of culture
- Video (if posible with subtitles in English)
- Things I like/ Things I do not like
- Conclusion

5. Coachella Music Fest (USA)
6. Elephant Festival in Jaipur (India)
7. White Nights Festival (Russia)
8. Albuquerque International Ballon Fiesta (USA)
9. The Patum (Berga)
10. Beryeong Mud Festival ( South Korea)
